BOURNE FITNESS FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Is Bourne Fitness suitable for beginners?
Yes. Our classes and personal training welcome complete beginners, people returning after time away and experienced members. Every session can be adapted to your current ability and confidence, and our coaches will help you progress at an appropriate pace.
Do I need to be fit before joining?
No. You do not need to reach a particular fitness level before starting. The purpose of joining is to build your fitness gradually with appropriate coaching, encouragement and support.
What is the best way to try Bourne Fitness?
Our £79 Unlimited Trial is the best way to experience Bourne Fitness. New members can attend all classes, including Small Group PT, for 30 days, try different training styles and meet our coaches without an ongoing commitment.
Is there a smaller introductory option?
Yes. New members can purchase a two-class taster for £30, valid for 30 days. This is a good option if you would prefer to try a couple of sessions before choosing a membership.
Which class should I attend first?
Choose a class that interests you and fits comfortably into your routine. Every session can be adapted, so there is no single class you must complete first. Contact us if you would like a recommendation based on your experience and goals.
What should I bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable training clothes and suitable trainers, and bring water. Please arrive a few minutes early so your coach can welcome you, explain the session and discuss any injuries or adjustments you may need.
How many people are in each class?
Our general fitness classes are capped at a maximum of eight members. Small Group PT, boxing and selected specialist sessions may have an even smaller capacity, giving our coaches more time to support you.
